why a slipknot gig is like sex

i went to see slipknot on Tuesday on my own, i was a little worried about dying in the crush of angry moshers, but i have learnt that f you can survive slayer you can survive anything,
anyhoo machine head were supporting who i don't particularly have much interest in so i stayed at the back behind a ledge where i could lean and it was all good and groovy. then slipknot came on and i decided to stay where i was for the first song as i could see clearly and didn't have my view blocked also i had quite a bit of space and could look over the crowd and see where the mosh pits were.

but i got so restless i really wanted be involved and participate rather than just listening, so i waded to the front at the side and fucking freaked out with the music.

i love slipknots music. whether I'm pissed of or want to release steam and am stressed a bit of slipknot is like a massage.

so without the burden of being with anyone and having them however minutely judging me i got completely into it. i feel sorry for those behind me who i hope didn't have hair whip form my headbanging but they might have. and as i was screaming along i realised that i probably looked quite ungainly, similar to sex but when it feels that good who gives a fuck!
